GERTRUDE (GERT) JANE ERSKINE (nee WARNOCK) Peacefully on April 16, 2008, Gert passed away at Victoria Hospital at the age of 83 years. Gert is survived by her son Craig (Candi) Erskine of Nevada, USA; grandchildren Todd and Tobi; five great-grandchildren; siblings Merle, Douglas (Nicci), Ken (Blanch), Jack (Doreen); numerous nieces, nephews and one surviving aunt Noni. She was predeceased by her husband Jock; parents Laurence and Cora; brother Lloyd (Lorraine). Gert was born on July 3, 1924 in Rossburn, MB and moved to Winnipeg in 1936. She attended General Wolfe School and worked for National Grain for many years. She enjoyed bowling, curling, reading and socializing. The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Paramedic Service for their prompt and courteous attention. Also thanks to the emergency staff at Victoria Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in Rossburn at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba. 586-8044
