RUTH ANN TURNER July 30, 1933 April 9, 2008 Passed away peacefully on April 9 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox at the young age of 74, with her loving husband by her side. She was predeceased by her mother Margaret and stepfather Bill and sister Haroldine. Ruth is survived by and will be greatly missed by her husband Jim of 49 years, daughter Karen, son-in-law Brian and granddaughter Kaela of Victoria. Also sister and best friend Marlene (Gordon) from Comox and Doreen in Winnipeg, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ruth was born in Climax, SK and lived most of her life in Winnipeg, MB and will be sadly missed by many friends and all who knew her. Ruth moved to Comox Valley after retirement in 1993. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ruth Turner's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
