Peacefully, at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, Ottawa, on April 15, 2008, in his 86th year. Most beloved husband for 61 years of the late Esther. Loving father of Lynn (Brian Carson) and Patricia (the late Donald Spratt). Cherished Grandpa to David Capra (Yolande), Charlene (Todd Staffen), Katie Spratt (Adam Massey) and Beth Spratt (Susana Romero). Devoted brother-in-law to Dorothy and Bill Everts. Special friend to Janice and Mike La Fontaine. He will be missed by the Carson family. Born in Winnipeg, Jack spent most of his career with the Canadian Air Force, serving in England and France. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Robert and the wonderful staff and sitters at the Perley. Family will receive friends at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Sunday, April 20 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre.
