TERRY DALE HEINRICHS December 9, 1956 - April 13, 2008 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry, a beloved husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the age of 51. Terry was born in Altona, MB. He spent most of his life living in Winnipeg. Terry will be sadly missed and leaves his memory to be cherished by his loving wife of 26 years, Donna, mother-in-law Minnie, parents Rose Armstrong and Ben Heinrichs, sister Bonnie (George) and their son Michael, sister-in-laws, Linda, Joan (Lawrence), nieces, Cheryl (Pete), Cindy (Tom), great-nieces, Nevaeh and Monika as well as close cousins and close friends. Terry was predeceased by his father-in-law Papa Tony, pets, Bailey and Haley as well as numerous aunts, uncles and grandparents. Terry had a gift of forming friendships instantly with anyone that he met. His integral personality and genuineness were forefront and apparent. Terry met the love of his life Donna in August 1981 in which they married in July 1986. Terry and Donna lived in Winnipeg until moving to their country dream home in 1998. Terry had a passion for animals. Even if an animal was homeless, Terry had a big heart to take the animal in. Terry loved spending time outdoors where he would go horseback riding or just enjoyed going for an evening stroll with his wife, their dog llama and even the cat. Terry cared so much for his family that just being at home with his wife and animals is what truly made him the happiest. Terry was a giver. He would faithfully donate his blood to the Canadian Blood Services for others who would need it. Terry had a love for sports and was a big JETS fan and Blue Bombers fan. Terry also loved to play hockey, golf, baseball, building and racing his car (back in the day) and recently enjoyed spending time with a very special group at Earls. Terry started his career at Scott National where he worked for 26 years. He then started a new job at Cold Stream Refrigeration where he worked for three years until his illness. Celebration of Terry's life will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue at Bond Street. The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone that supported and cared for Terry throughout this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or The Winnipeg Humane Society. Rest in Peace my Sunshine. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Terry, one of a kind! Always ready with a statement to make you laugh, no matter what the circumstance! During the time I got to know Terry, I saw a very dedicated, kind, caring person and comical person. He had no problem just being himself and loved to get a laugh or a rise out of me. He showed me how to sit back and laugh when things got tough. His love for his family, which included his pets, shone through in his conversation and personality. I am sure he will be greatly missed by all. - Posted by: Bonnie Lazarenko (Co-Worker) on: Apr 21, 2008

  • One of the most caring, loyal, comical people I have ever known and had the great priviledge of calling a close friend. Anyone who knew Terry as I did will be able to relate and will miss him as much as I do. - Posted by: Dean Macooh (Friend) on: Apr 19, 2008
