Born on September 21, 1916 to Edward and Ann Catchpole in Winnipeg, MB, she was predeceased by her husband Hugh McIver, brother Edward and sister Neta. Ena was a longtime employee of The Manitoba Telephone System and member of The Telephone Pioneers of America, as well as performing bookkeeping duties for Muir's Drug Store. She is survived by her three nephews Ted, Brent and James Catchpole along with stepson Garry McIver, and several relatives in Scotland. The family would like to thank her immediate neighbours for all their assistance and a special thank you to her friend Joan Brabant who visited her weekly.
