Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD EDWARD ROSS May 2, 1938 April 15, 2008 With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Ronald Edward Ross on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Ron worked for Revenue Canada in Winnipeg for 30 years, retiring in 1995. At the same time he also farmed for 23 years, fulfilling one of his childhood dreams. Ron was well respected and a mentor to many, always willing to help others. His compassion for others was evident in the loving care he gave to his mother, Hilda and Irene. Besides farming, Ron enjoyed times spent with family, golf, trains, good music, dogs and sports. Ron leaves to mourn his loving wife Barbara; his son Gordon (Pat) and grandsons, Derek and David; grandson Caleb; stepsons, Bill (Colleen) and Bob (Josee), and grandson Chad; sister Marilyn (Gordon), and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father Alma and Arthur; daughter Laura, and Hilda and Irene Poranski. Ron will be dearly remembered by all for his wonderful personality and unique sense of humour. He will always be remembered and carried in our hearts. We will miss him greatly. Ron is now at peace in the arms of Jesus.
