SANDFORD CLEMONS On Monday, April 14, 2008, after a lengthy illness, Mr. Sandford Clemons, aged 76 years, passed away peacefully. Sandy was born on July 2, 1931, and resided at Lot 32, St. Peters, all his life. Like his father, uncles and brothers, he loved the boats and working on various vessels that sailed up the Red River to various places along Lake Winnipeg. He also served in the forces before returning to Selkirk and later ending his working career with Mandak. He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Glen; his devoted friend Laura; her children, David, Brenda, Laurie and Andrea; as well as his cousins, nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his mother Ruth; father Tom; brothers, Edward, Allan and Lloyd, and sister Verna. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Ron Vert officiating. Cremation will follow and interment will take place at a later date in the Old St. Peter's Cemetery.
