HENRY GEORGE WAPEMOOSE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry George Wapemoose, at the age of 73 years, at Riverview Health Centre on April 18, 2008. George was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. George is survived by his sons, Dennis and Danny; his daughters, Linda (Ron Delamare), Darlene (Ray Klyne), Angela (Gerald Adams), Elaine (Larry Leech) and Joan (Sam Smith) whom Dad loved like his daughter. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sheila, Megan, Eric, Kalyn, Kristian, Samuel, Wendy, James Robert, Ricky, Sandee and Irish and his great-grandchildren, Ashley, Evan, Jaida, Owen, Chance, Zachary, Kyra, Raistlin and Fiona. Dad is survived by one brother Joseph Wapemoose. He will be missed by his nieces in Calgary, Alberta, Trina and Tina; great nephew Sid Jr. and many other numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beautiful wife Annette, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage until her passing on September 24, 1996 (he missed her greatly); his sons, George, Henry and Louis; his brother Louie; his parents, Rose and St. Pierre Wapemoose. George was born on September 20, 1934 in Marieval, Saskatchewan and was a member of the Cowesses First Nation. George was a journeyman drywall taper and practiced his trade for many years until his retirement. In accordance with Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family invites Dad's friends to join us in a celebration of his life on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion #1 Branch, 626 Sargent Avenue where he was a proud member for many years.
