Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT JAWORSKI It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved dad, granpa, brother, brother-in-law and uncle on April 17, 2008 at the age of 75. Albert was predeceased; by his beloved wife Jean on April 17, 2005; his mother and father Helen and Joseph Jaworski; brother Charles; sister Rose; brother-in law Sidney; sisters-in-law Helen and Sophie; mother and father-in-law Rudolph and Stefania Hertz. Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter Darlene; sons, Don (Judith) and Gary (Tracey); grandchildren, Janine, Carisa, Trevor, Terri (Tony), Cory and Wesley. He is also survived by his brothers, Tony, Joseph (Isabel), Stan (Yvonne), Kasmir and Frank; sister Wanda (Will); sister-in-law Sophie. Also mourning Albert's passing is Jean's family and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was born on June 6, 1932 in Winnipeg. Albert and Jean were married on June 8, 1957. They spent 47 wonderful years together. For many years he was an active member of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, serving on the executive committee as treasurer, and enjoying his time singing in the choir. Albert was employed at the Canadian Wheat Board for 35 years taking early retirement in 1989. He loved gardening, playing bingo, cards games of all kinds and later on taking fun excursions to the casinos. Dad loved spending time with his family, he enjoyed sitting on his deck listening to his music, especially Zabava Hour. At weddings and family gatherings Dad was known to sing Stoi Lat in his great powerful voice. After Mom's passing, Dad was lovingly cared for by his devoted daughter Darlene who will miss him deeply. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., followed by a reception. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, The Very Reverend Father Wesley Cwieka celebrant. Reception will follow at the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Trevor and Wesley, nephews Wayne, Kelly, Aaron, Shawn, Jonathan and Ron. Darlene would like to thank all of Dad's Home Care family and his nurses for all their wonderful care, kindness and support they gave Dad. Dad, we will never forget your love, kindness and generosity, we will cherish you in our hearts forever. Your weary hours and days of pain Your troubled nights are past, And in our aching hearts we know You found sweet rest at last.
