MARIE ROSA FLORIDA CARON (nee GAGNIE) Peacefully on April 19, 2008, Rosa passed away at her residence at the age of 81 years. Rosa is survived her husband Frank Emile Claude Caron; daughters Aurise (Jerry) Barker from Napanee, ON, Norma (James) Matheson, Albertine (Melvin) Boubard, Irene (Paul) Caron) and Lucienne (Ernest) Lemky; sons Harry Caron and Henry Grouette and very special Violet Chalmers; 37 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother Henry Gagnie and sister Rita Duhamel both of Atikokan, ON. She was predeceased her parents, Antoine and Florida. Rosa was born on July 11, 1926 and grew up in Ste. Anne, MB. She loved to spend time in her garden, was very friendly and kind to everyone. The family would like to thank the palliative care staff for all their compassionate care and to the WRHA for their help during this difficult time. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 9:30 a.m. with service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosa's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. 586-8044
