WILLIAM (BILL) JAMES HILTON April 20, 1955 - April 18, 2008 After a short, intense and courageous battle, it is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of William (Bill) James Hilton on April 18, 2008, two days before his 53rd Birthday. Bill leaves to mourn in his passing, the love of his life, Marcia McAuley and his step-children, Rachelle, Ryley, Dana Devine and his four legged shadow, Nikki. Bill was predeceased by his father William Hilton and mother Joan Hilton. He is survived by his sisters, Vicky Toupin, Brenda Hilton; brother Rob Hilton and wife Rhonda, nieces and nephews, Shawn, Jennifer and Kyle. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Rodney and Dorothy McAuley, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Angus and Carolyn McAuley, sister-in-law Shelagh McAuley, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Colleen and Rick Loewen, nieces and nephews, Michelle and Darrin Postma (Alex), Macey and Brock Woolgar (Wyatt and Weston), Danielle Alfaro, Jonathan, Margaret, Timothy and Sarah Loewen. Bill will be sorely missed by many treasured friends and relatives, too numerous to mention. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Bill attended Kildonan East High School and later worked with his father in the family business: Teague and Hilton Construction. Bill later was employed with M.T.S. and Manitoba Hydro. A member of the La Salle Hotel Wildlife, Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in the great outdoors being close to nature, especially time spent at Flanders Lake. Many thanks to Doctors and staff that went above and beyond at Emergency and I.C.M. at Concordia Hospital, Paramedics, Angio Department, M.I.C.U. and C.C.I.C.M. at St. Boniface Hospital, Flight team, Doctors and staff at I.C.M. Toronto General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Memorial service will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg.
