VIOLET MYRTLE (CHILTON) BRADIE MAY 2, 1912 Peacefully, on April 18, 2008, Vi (Aunt Kenny) passed away at the Lions Personal Care Centre in her 96th year. Vi was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1974 and years previously by her parents, three brothers and her aunt Bea. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, James and Douglas (Andrea) of Winnipeg and daughter Carol (Al) Williams of Calgary. Vi leaves six grandchildren, Lisa (Arto) Hahmo, Craig (Linda), Todd (Heather), Chris (Elisabeth) Williams, John (Lesley-Ann) Bradie and Catherine (Sal) Troia. She also leaves many great-grandchildren and niece Joan Murphy. Vi attended King Edward, Luxton and St. John's schools. She was employed at Eaton's for many years. Many hours of enjoyment were spent with family and friends. Mom was an avid Bingo, Scrabble, Bridge and card player and taught many of us how to enjoy a good game. The family thanks the staff of Lions Personal Care Centre for their many kindnesses throughout the years and particularly during these recent times. A Celebration of Life will be held at Lions Personal Care Residence, 320 Sherbrook St. on Thursday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Arden Boville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Violet's memory can be made to the Lions Personal Care Centre. We sure will miss you Mum and may you rest in peace.
