EDWARD KLOS June 3, 1931 - April 18, 2008 It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Edward Klos on Friday, April 18, 2008. He was born on June 3, 1931 in Winnipeg, MB. Since Edward's birth he lived the majority of his life on the Klos' homestead in Hazelglen, MB. Edward was a very proud, caring and giving man to those who knew him. Besides his love for farming, Edward was employed with the Department of Highways for 20 years, retiring in 1991. He will be sadly missed by his wife Georgette. His memory will be cherished by his son Randall (Karen), daughters Barbara (Norman) Hallson and Colleen (Robert) Smith, his five grandchildren Ryan (Ashley), Robert (Sarah) and Carley Klos, Kyle and Kevin Smith, sister Frances Lewis; brothers Stanley (Verna), Walter (Joan), Bernie (Peggy) and sister in-law Kay Klos, also many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father John Klos and his mother Caroline (Wasney), brothers Frank, Henry and Leonard (Helen) Klos, brother-in-law Lorne Lewis and sister-in-law Jean Klos. Pallbearers will be sons-in-law Norman Hallson and Robert Smith, grandsons Ryan and Robert Klos, Kyle and Kevin Smith and granddaughter Carley Klos. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak presiding. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Parish Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Thank you for the years you gave us, And for the happy times we shared. We only pray that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one Our chain will link again.
