WILLIAM ERNEST PFEIFER William Ernest Pfeifer passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Martha on January 2, 2007 and by his parents John and Elizabeth. Survived by his daughter Joyce (Barry) of Penticton, BC; son Ken (Mary) of Prince George; grandchildren Shelly (Corey) and their children Annika and Ella; Jennifer and her children, Riley and Kyle; Jaylene (Markku) and their children Maija, Emmi and Dani; Jonathon (Kari) and their children Jorja and Jayce. Bill and Martha resided in Winnipeg until their move to Prince George in 2002 to be closer to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill will be sadly missed by his sister Lena Hampson of Sanford, MB; sister-in-law Frieda Pfeifer, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from Assmans' Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roland Ziprick officiating. Cremation to follow in Fraserview Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation. Thank you to the nursing staff of Prince George Regional Hospital, FMU and a very special thank you to Dr. Javed and to the caring staff of Simon Fraser Lodge.
