Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM ROBERT JOLLY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Robert Jolly, on April 19, 2008. Bill was born in London, England on July 27, 1923 to Maude and Charles Jolly, the third of four boys. He served in the 49th Reconnaissance Regiment, landed on D Day, fought in France, Belgium and was wounded in Holland. After the war he worked for the St. Pancras Council, London, England. He met and married Patricia in 1952. In 1954 with his wife Patricia, infant son Andrew and brother John, they emigrated to Canada, where their second son David was born. They lived in Toronto, Hamilton and Peterborough. Bill was transferred to Winnipeg in 1970 where they resided in Westwood. In 1977, after the death of his wife Patricia, Bill met and married Kathleen. Bill was employed with CMHC taking an early retirement in 1983. He was Past Master of Ashlar Lodge #162 and lately a member of Windsor Lodge #138. Bill is survived by his wife Kathleen, sons Andrew Jolly (Diane), David Jolly (Denise Sicard), stepsons Doug Sexsmith (Kim Page), Ken Sexsmith (Debra), grandchildren Bonnie Jolly (Brent Heckert), Ryan Jolly (Jessica Cropper), Kevin Jolly, Denny Sexsmith (Ashley), Sandy Sexsmith (Claire Connelly), Joshua Sexsmith and great granddaughter Stella Sexsmith. He is also survived by extended family Julie Ouellette and son Braeden, Josie Ouellette (Gerry Armstrong), daughter Alexis, Tobi MacGregor (Sean Kin), daughter Taya Kin, Tyler MacGregor and Ashley MacGregor, sister-in-law Phyllis Mott as well as numerous and special nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Bill was predeceased by his first wife Patricia, his mother and father Maude and Charles Jolly, brothers Albert, Charles and wife Hilda, John and wife Betty, brothers-in-law John (Jack) Mott and Bernard Mott.
