Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEE FASCIANO (nee GERUS) The family of Lee Fasciano sadly announce her peaceful passing after a brief illness, on April 21, 2008 at Concordia Hospital. Much loved, she will be deeply missed by her daughters Marilyn (Allen) Robinson and Frances (Keith) Burr, her grandchildren Colin Robinson and his wife Yvonne Tavares, Laura, Jocelyn, and Ian Burr, and her great- granddaughter Katherine Robinson. She is also survived by her sisters Pearl Jenner and Helen Warren, their families and many dear nieces and nephews. Lee was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas in 1987 and by her parents and brothers Nicholas, Edward, and Tom and sisters Olga, Mary, and Kay. Most important in Mom's life was her family. Unconditional love for every member, whether near or far, was her most endearing and enduring quality. A kind and gentle woman, she was generous, humble and forgiving. A woman of strong faith, Mom was an active member of St. Alphonsus Parish and the C.W.L. since her youth. Two of her greatest joys were her many years singing in the choir at St. Al's and the camaraderie of the Thursday morning perogy makers. Mom had a very strong work ethic and was employed for over 30 years with S.S. Kresge on Portage Ave. and at K-mart. She thoroughly enjoyed her work, making many lasting friendships there. Mom was conscious of and very thankful for the many blessings in her life and the kindnesses of her friends and neighbors. The family would particularly like to extend thanks to the staff of E3 at Concordia Hospital for their care and support. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, 5:30 p.m. in Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 341 Monroe Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom's memory to the Concordia Foundation for use in patient care, 1095 Concordia Ave., R2K 3S8. Arrangements entrusted to KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. 338-0331 www.klassenfuneralhome.com Life stories may be shared with friends and family across the globe at www.mem.com.
