MARY ADAMYK (FUNK) 1926 - 2008 Peacefully on April 21, Mary passed away at the Kildonan Personal Care Home with her son at her side. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons Brian (Arlene), Gordon (Judi), and grandchildren Katharine, Jillayne, Nicole, Erik, and Mitchel. She is survived by her brother Henry and sister Helen. She was predeceased by husband George (2002), parents Jacob and Margaretha Funk, and five brothers and three sisters. Mary was born in Randolph, MB in 1926. She married George in 1960. The family lived in Winnipeg, Arborg, Grand Marais and Steinbach. Mary moved to Winnipeg in 2006. Mary's passions were her faith, music, family, and spending time with her grandkids. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the third floor staff at K.P.C. for their compassionate and excellent care over the years. Viewing will be at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach, Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.
