GEORGE MICHAEL DEMKIW August 23, 1957 - April 24, 2007 In loving memory of an exceptional husband, father and grandfather (Gigi). We weren t prepared for the day you left us. Your life slipped away much too soon and even though time lets us laugh once again, a piece of our hearts went with you. You had so many hopes and dreams; we have so many words that remain unsaid. We think about you constantly. Your laughter, smiles, gentleness, caring and love, still and always will surround us. They are reflected and rooted deeply in the hearts and souls of our two beautiful daughters and precious grandson. Through them I find a bit of you which comforts me when I realize our loss. I celebrate your life and love everyday and I thank God for giving you to me even if it was for only 30 years. In German we never say goodbye , instead we say auf wiedersehn which means until we meet again , to love, to cherish, to never forget and know you are only a memory away. Thank you for the life you've given me. Thank you for sharing all your love and all your dreams. Thank you for every tear of happiness I've cried. Thank you for laying down beside me every night.
