LYNN COULTER Lynn Coulter passed away April 18, 2008 after a long struggle with Rheumatic Arthritis. Her health started it's steady and long decline when she was only 24, and was employed by Via Rail as a supervisor and was forced into early retirement by the debilitating disease. However, in spite of the pain and the restrictions it put on her life, she enjoyed living on the farm in Kleefeld with her husband Allen for 34 years until moving into a care home. Lynn loved life and her family and could never do enough for them and never ever expected anything in return. She was an inspiration to other patients in the hospitals where she was forced to spend much time over the years. Even when she became totally blind and had to give up reading, her one passion that she could still manage, her will and hope remained strong. She also had a great love for animals and formed strong bonds with all the pets over the years. Her last pet, Buddy, a Shihtzu, used to lie beside her in bed for untold hours never leaving her and even trotted along in front of her wheelchair with Lynn gently nudging him along with her toes. On his visits to the hospital and care home Buddy would charge down the hallways knowing that Lynn was waiting for him. He brought great joy to her in her last years of life. If desired, donations may be made in Lynn's name to the S.P.C.A.
