He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Edith; son-in-law Clifford (Vivianne); grandson Dale (Sheldon); granddaughter Leeanne (Shawn); great-grandson Austin; many nieces, nephews, and sister Inga Bjornson. He was predeceased by his loving daughter Edith; grandson Darren; his parents and brother Murray. He was born in Medicine Hat and moved to Baldur, Manitoba at the age of four. He moved to Winnipeg when he was 25 years old. He then joined the R.C.A.F and spent some time overseas. When he returned home he began working at The Bay and was there for 40 years. He married his wife Edith in 1946 and was married for 62 years. He enjoyed curling and while he was working at The Bay he curled with them and when he retired he curled with the Charleswood Seniors. He lived in the Weston district for many years and then moved to McClure Place where he lived for almost 20 years. He enjoyed the fellowship with both the tenants and church people at McClure United Church, where he served on the board. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27 at McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Place. Parking is available behind the CNIB. The family would like to thank Dr. Albak from the Assiniboine Clinic and his nurse Rose-Anne for their kindness to Lloyd and the Palliative nurses for their weekly visits and also the doctors and nurses at Riverview Health Centre. We would also like to thank the church people, our Minister Rev. Pat Wotton and also the tenants of McClure for their kindness during Lloyd's illness.
