STELLA NORMA MASTERS (nee GREYEYES) Peacefully on April 11, 2008 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Stella Masters, aged 60 years, of Petersfield, MB, passed away. Stella was born in Petersfield on December 15, 1944, daughter of the late John and Agnes (nee Prince) Greyeyes. She was predeceased by brothers, Purvis and Thomas and will be dearly missed by brothers, Howard, Lloyd, Ken and Morris of Petersfield; sisters, Florence Frommelt of Selkirk and Audrey Raymond of Victoria, BC; her four children, Vernon (Arlene) of Petersfield, Vanessa (Dan) Kress of Delta, BC, Morgan (Colleen) and Martin, both of Surrey, BC, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In 1962 Stella completed Grade 10 at Petersfield and then attended Marvel School of Hairdressing. She completed her course and started work at Tony's in Selkirk. She met George, married and started her family in 1965. She started and ran her own salon Heights of Fashion for many years. She later worked at the Mainwood and Kaye's in Winnipeg. Stella loved her profession and making new friends. She was also known for her cooking and preserves. The memories we all have will bring joy and peace to those who remain. Many thanks to friends who came to visit during her illness and to the paramedics and staff at the Selkirk General Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk and a graveside service will be held on May 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the St. George's Wakefield Churchyard, just north of Clandeboye, the Ven. Rev. Mawejje officiating. Hymns will be sung by Ed Prince. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
