MURRAY MURDOCH July 30, 1938 - April 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father Murray Murdoch. Murray was born in Winnipeg in 1938 and spent 22 years with Manitoba Hydro. In 1979 Murray and his family moved to North Delta, BC where Murray became a prominent figure in Real Estate in the North Delta and Surrey areas. He remained in Real Estate until his retirement in 1996. Moving to Osoyoos with Joan, Murray enjoyed the retirement life, travelling, golfing and marshalling at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club. Murray touched so many lives with his grace, charm, kindness and good nature. He is survived by his loving wife Joan, four children; Todd (Renee), Ross (Melanie), Scott, Lee (Darren), and nine grandchildren, Raeanna, Sydney, Marina, Katarina, Calen, Haillee, Dawson, Payton and Levi. Murray was surrounded by his family in his final hours and slipped away in the presence of much love. Missed and loved by his family and friends Murray's spirit will live on in his grandchildren and he will remain in our hearts forever. A celebration of Murray's life will be held on Sunday, May 4 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club, Osoyoos BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Nasreen Khalil, Lung Centre, 7th Floor, 2775 Laurel Street, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 1M9 would be appreciated to help in the research for EAA.
