ANNA LANG It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Lang, age 67 at the Riverview Health Centre on April 23, 2008. She was born December 19, 1940 in Apetlon, Austria and came to Winnipeg in 1960. Anna was very hard working and was employed in housekeeping at the King George / Riverview Health Centre for over 37 years and retired in 2000. She enjoyed movies, live theatre, shopping, family picnics and loved travelling (especially to New York, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Jasper and Vienna). Anna is survived by her sister Ottilia Racz (Paul), niece and nephew Loretta and Paul Racz Jr. and cousin Joe Pitzl (Rose) of Winnipeg, cousin Hubert Kaiser of Texas, brother Hubert (Maria) and sisters Franziska (Otto), Veronika (Johann) and Theresia (George) and many nieces, nephews and great-nephews all in Austria. She was predeceased by her parents Katharina and George Lang. The family would like to thank the staff on 3 East at Riverview for their kindness and compassionate care of Anna. Funeral services officiated by Fr. Kevin Smith will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with public viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 9Z9.
