HENRIKA T. ROLPH (nee BIL) March 5, 1945 - April 20, 2008 With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at the age of 63 years. Remaining to forever cherish Henrika's memory are her children Michael Edward (Vanessa Worsley), Barbara Ann (Myles Hildebrand), Julie Ann (Tyler Blight); grandchildren Mylea and Rowan Hildebrand; and her brother Ed (Cathy) and his family. She was predeceased by her parents Albin (1970) and Sophia (2007). Born in Hof, Germany, to Sophia and Albin Bil, Henrika came to Canada with her brother Edward in 1947 and settled in Timmons, Ontario. She married Floyd Rolph and lived in Mississauga before moving to Winnipeg in 1977. Henrika worked at the Wellesley care home in Winnipeg and took pride in helping others until her own health began to fail. She enjoyed classic movies, Neil Diamond, card games, puzzles, the Conservatory, the Leo Mol Garden and especially spending her time with her grandchildren and teaching them all about how to enjoy the world. We know that now she is without pain and at perfect peace. A private family service will take place in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted towards a memorial park bench in Henrika's name.
