ELSIE CHORNOPYSKI (nee WAGNER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Granny and Great Granny Elsie Chornopyski on April 23, 2008 at age 79. Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Bob (Debbie), Ken (Carol), Ron, and daughter Connie Schau (Warren); grandchildren, Michael (Samantha), Jennifer (Chris) Bardarson, Cory (Vivian) Schau, Danny (Miriam), and Billy Raill; great-grandchildren, William, Andrew, Cory Chornopyski and Brooke Bardarson; brother Bob Wagner, and sister Irene Polczer, as well as daughter-in-law Mary and numerous friends and family. Elsie was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) on September 11, 2002; grandson, Riley Schau on February 18, 2004, and her sister Lillian Chesley. Elsie was an extremely devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who took pride in her family and took great joy seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was inspirational and instrumental in husband Bill's political career for many years. One of her personal joys was her ability to create amazing pieces in knitting, which she found most rewarding in competitions winning many 1st and 2nd place ribbons. A service in Elsie's memory will be held on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Chapel, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. In lieu of flowers, as an expression in Elsie's memory, donations may be made to Quagga Animal Shelter, 970 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 3R8. THE ROAD TO ETERNITY Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be. A resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, different paths along the way. We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place far greater than we know. For some, the journey's quicker, for some, the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward, and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord. GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 338 7111 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
