AXEL ERNEST AXELL On Thursday, April 24, 2008, Mr. Axel Ernest Axell of Lundar, MB, passed away at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital at the age of 74. He was born on the homestead at Lillesve, MB on October 8, 1933. Axel is lovingly remembered by his sister Laura Desjardin of North Bay, ON; his brother Albert (Connie) Axell of Cold Lake, AB; along with numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Axel was predeceased by his father Gustaf and his mother Pearl Axel; his grandparents; his half brothers, George and Gust Walker; his sister Bernice LeClair and twin sister Irene Kischook. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Lillesve Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot, Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
