HAZEL MAY CLEAVER It is with great sadness that the family of Hazel May Cleaver announces her sudden passing on Thursday, April 24, 2008. She was one day shy of her 62nd birthday Hazel was born in 1946 in Selkirk, MB. She resided there and attended school there in the early part of her life. She then married Donald (Terry) Cleaver and they had three children together, Mark, Daina and Dennis. She traveled along with her husband because of his occupation and lived and worked in Churchill, Dauphin, Rocky Mountain House, Swan River and finally residing in Winnipeg. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life. She was a loving and extremely generous person who will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her mother Josephine; stepfather, two sisters Mary-Joe and Lynn; as well as her two nieces Karen and Corrin. Remaining to forever cherish Hazel's memory are her loving husband Don (Terry); son Mark and daughter-in-law Karen; daughter Daina; son Dennis and daughter-in-law Carley; grandchildren Kristin and husband Willie, Megan, Melissa, Chad, Matthew and great-grandchildren Morgan, Malia and Madison. The family will be holding a come and go tea on Monday, April 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 403 Eveline Street in Selkirk, MB. All family and friends are welcome to attend. We would like to thank the staff at the Grace and Concordia Hospitals for taking such good care of Mom and also our greatest thanks to Dr. Theodore in Swan River for being there for Mom all the time. In lieu flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Diabetes Foundation, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Hazel's family would like to thank everyone that touched her in her life and made her the amazing person that she was.
