PATRICIA (PATTY) BOEHM After a lengthy illness and courageous battle with cancer, Patty passed away on April 26, 2008 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 52. Patty was born in Selkirk, Manitoba on October 10, 1955 to Albert and Lucille Cook. On November 14, 1981 Patty married the love of her life, Manfred. They renewed their vows on a cruise ship on the Mediterranean in 2006. Together they raised their family, worked hard and built their hospitality enterprise, enjoyed traveling throughout the world, and just simply enjoyed spending time together. They were best friends and soulmates from the time they met until the time of Patty's passing. In her spare time, Patty loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, shopping for jewellery and planning/making arrangements for the next trip that she and Manfred would be taking. After living in Thompson for the past 14 years, they recently moved to Winnipeg. Patty will be remembered and celebrated forever by her beloved husband, her children, Brian (Shandoll), Lana (Jayson); her precious grandchildren, (Brandy, Bailey, Mathew, Zachary, Emmy, Destin, Brendan, Brolan), her mother (Lucille); her brother and sisters, Linda (David), Buddy (Dawn), Janie, Marlene (Russell), her many nephews and nieces and their children, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wolf (Darlene), Ed (Linda), Ted (Marie) and their families and her many friends and acquaintances. Patty was predeceased by her father Albert and her brother Jimmy. Patty will be forever remembered for her love of life, her huge smile and her infectious laugh. If I could have a lifetime wish a dream that would come true. I'd pray to God with all my heart for yesterday and you. A thousand words can't bring you back I know because I've tried And neither will a million tears because I've cried and cried. You left behind my broken heart and happy memories to. But it's not the memories that were wanted, it was, just simply you. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. A memorial service to celebrate Patty's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Both to be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
