She grew up in Hnausa and Riverton. She met and married the love of her life, Raymond in 1957. Together they lived happily in Riverton, Selkirk, Arnes, and Gimli. With Raymond steadfast by her side she loved and enjoyed her family more than anything in her life. She was an intelligent woman with a kind and gentle heart; an honest and true friend to many. She was very fun loving, always up to play a game; golf being one of her favourites. The family would like to thank Dr. R. C. Patel and the staff of Gimli Community Health Centre for their compassionate care during the last days of her life. In lieu of flowers, one may choose to make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation in her honour. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli, MB. Rest in peace Elskun. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
