CASIMIR JOHN GLADYS On April 26, 2008 Casimir John Gladys, at the age of 82, peacefully passed away at the Pinawa Hospital surrounded by his family. To mourn his passing his is survived by his loving wife Eileen; his five children, Brian (Liz), Taber, AB, Bonita (Bill Wenmen), Fruitvale, BC, Gordon (Cindy), Stanley (Marchris), Dale (Michelle), all of Winnipeg and his 11 grandchildren; his sister Mary (Ed Berger), Pennsylvania, USA and his sister-in-law Francine, South Carolina, USA. He is predeceased by his parents John and Caroline, his brother Stanley and sister Raphael O.S.B. Cass and Eileen were married on May 15, 1951 in Winnipeg. Cass was employed by Powell Equipment from 1957 to 1966. In 1966 the family moved to Pinawa where Cass was hired as a millwright at AECL. In 1969 Cass and Eileen built their own home and moved to Lac du Bonnet. Our family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff at the Pinawa Hospital, especially Chrissy Alexander of Pinawa. Cremation has taken place, funeral service pending. We will always remember Dad for being able to fix anything that was broken and build anything from scratch.
