DON KLASSEN May 4, 1939 - April 28, 2008 It is with great sadness the Klassen family announces Don's passing. He fought a brave battle against Diabetes and Heart disease for over 10 years. Don is predeceased by his parents, Lillian and George and his sister Marlene. Don is survived by his son Don (Nancy), his daughter Leigh-Anne (Simon) and his granddaughter Sophie. His brother, John (Shirley), his nieces, Sandra, Michelle, Cheryl and Lori as well as his nephews Derek and Stephen. Don was born in Winnipeg and worked at many jobs, his last job was at the Hope Center providing care for the mentally challenged. Don did extensive family tree research and enjoyed wood carving. The family wishes to thank Mary Montgomery, Dr. Warriach, and the staff of Unit 1, on the 5th Floor of Seven Oaks General Hospital for making Don's stay there as pleasant as possible. Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
