SARA REIMER BRANDT Sara Reimer Brandt, 88, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2008 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. Mom was born October 9, 1919 to Cornelius P. and Maria Reimer. She grew up in Clearspring, MB. She married Albert Brandt on January 2, 1944. Left to remember her are her husband Albert and their children, Leona (Joe) Moder, Minna (Gary M.) Brandt, Harv Brandt, David (Pat) Brandt, Maria (Ian) McTaggart, Joanne (Rick) Fontaine, Brian (Birgit) Friesen, 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sara is survived by one brother Abram R. Reimer and one sister Anna Friesen, many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was a great help to her husband in his business. She was active in the community, volunteering and working in her own ceramic business. Despite her struggles with her health, we saw mom overcome many difficulties in her life. We, her family, would like to thank all her extended family, friends and care givers who showed her much love. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. The funeral service will be held at the Ridgewood Church, Hwy. #311 E. on Thursday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m. with interment at the church cemetery.
