EVELYN RUTH ROBERTS (nee FOSTER) 1941 - 2008 Peacefully on April 29, 2008, Evelyn Roberts passed away at her residence in Stonewall, MB. She will be dearly missed by her sister May; sons James and Eric (Angela); grandson Brendan as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Barry; son William and brothers Robert and Thomas. She was born in Stony Mountain on September 13, 1941. She worked locally for many years. In 1973 she married Barry Roberts and has lived in Stonewall for the last 35 years. Evelyn was a quiet, generous, unselfish person who always put others before herself. Her warm smile and good humor touched many hearts. She adored her family particularly her grandson Brendan. Friends may call from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Evelyn to a charity of choice.
