Born August 14, 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Son of the late John Allen and Rosalie (Aeschlimann) Roshon. Preceded in death by brother Paul. Survived by daughters, Karen, Roxana, Heather, and son John. Also survived by sister-in-law Nancy and cousins, Galen and Walter Aeschlimann. Former Lutheran minister. Graduate of Susquehanna University and Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 59 Academy Road, Winnipeg. Interment in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA. Allen supported various local and world organizations. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to Winnipeg Harvest or Project Peacemakers. 220 Hespeler Ave. @ Henderson Hwy.
