AUDREY SIGRIDUR REED (nee JONASSON) December 9, 1922 April 29, 2008 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Audrey Reed on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Grace Hospital; a proud Icelander, a heart of gold, a beautiful person. Audrey will be lovingly remembered by daughter Laurane Gow (Neil), grandchildren, Sheila Gow (Jimmie Allan), Erin Dugard (Garrett), Taylor Gow; sister Dorothy Hatcher of Toronto, several nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Kathy and Peter Wolos, Georgina and Ray Doherty, and Joan Powell. She was predeceased by husband Leonard G. Reed, and parents Sigurbjorn and Laura Jonasson. Beloved by all who knew her, Audrey was known for her graciousness, compassion, infectious laugh, agreeable demeanour, and love of shopping! A resident of Oakview Place for the past three years, she was President of the Resident Association. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude to Oakview Place for the exceptional care and devotion to Audrey. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Oakview, 2395 Ness Ave. (Multipurpose Room). Think of her as living In the hearts of those she touched ... For nothing loved is ever lost And she was loved so much.
