TERRY HOBAN Peacefully, with family by his side, Terry, at the age of 72 years, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Riverview Health Centre. Beloved husband of Shirley for 51 years, he leaves to cherish his memory his children, Glenn (Toby) and Terri-Ann (Kevin). He is survived by his two granddaughters, Lindsay and Ashley from Spruce Grove, Alberta and his special newborn granddaughter, Taylor, who was his pride and joy. Son of the late Mary and James Hoban, Terry was predeceased by his siblings, Jim, Greg, Stan, Frank, Maggie, Kay, Anna and Mary. Terry is also survived by his brothers, Lawrie (Evelyn), Dennis (Maryann) and sisters, Ellen and Nora as well as his extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Terry was born on April 23, 1936 in Brooklands, Manitoba. He was a dedicated employee with Dominion Bridge, working there for 40 years. Following his retirement in 1989, Terry and Shirley became snowbirds spending the winters for the last 15 years in Pharr, Texas. It was there that Terry will be especially remembered by his second family of friends as the leader of the bicycle group. A private family interment will be taking place. We invite family and friends to join us on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brooklands Senior Citizen's Centre, 1960 William Avenue (corner of William Avenue at Oddy Street).
