Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBROWNIE (BRONISLAW) DUPLAK With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on April 30, 2008 at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was predeceased by his parents Fabian and Franciszka and sister Zofia. Brownie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jennie; children Brian (Kelly), Carolyn Pelletier (Paul), Greg (Bea), Andrew (Julie) and 15 grandchildren. Born August 3, 1927 in Budzanow, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1936, Brownie started working for Canadian Pacific Rail in 1948. He also worked for Clarks-Gambles for a few years. He retired from Canadian Pacific Rail in 1989 as a locomotive engineer. Brownie was a member of St. John Cantius Church since arriving in Canada and also belonged to St. John Cantius Seniors Club. Brownie was an artist, dabbling in oils and watercolours painting, a gifted woodcarver, fixing items and helping his children. Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue, Rev. Fr. Henryk Uczniak as celebrant. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com 586-8044
