EDWARD KLYM It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, dad, gigi and most of all, our best friend, Ed Klym of Gonor, MB on May 1, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Ed is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eva; his son Don (Jennifer) and grandson Everest, whom he adored; his brother, Lawrence (Rose); sister Leona (Frank) Maydaniuk of Kamloops, B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Nickalas and Mary Klym and an infant brother Anton. Ed was born in Brokenhead, MB. living there and in Walkleyburg, eventually settling in Gonor after he married Eva Bazan on July 21, 1962. He began his working career on the farm, then at Western Reinforcing and finally at Dominion Bridge, from which he retired in 1993 after 25 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and enjoyed many winter vacations to the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, United States and Canada. Ed had a love of nature and enjoyed working in the yard or the garden and driving through the countryside. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk with Rev. Fr. Oris Naherniak officiating.
