MABEL MORRISON December 20, 1917 April 27, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce that Mabel passed away peacefully at Boyne Lodge, at the age of 90. Mel, her husband of 66 years, was at her side. Remaining to cherish her memory is her husband Mel, son Brian, grandsons, Corey and Kevin, and daughter-in-law Lynette. She was predeceased by her sister Marion and son Glenn. Mabel was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and moved to the Carman area at an early age. She and Mel were married in 1941 and lived in Carman ever since. Mabel provided 28 years of dedicated service to the Municipality of Dufferin as Assistant Secretary Treasurer, retiring in 1981. She was also a member of the Canadian Legion Auxiliary. Our special thanks to the staff of the Boyne Lodge and the Carman home care workers whose care was kind and caring. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Carman United Church, with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman.
