JOANNE ELDORA ANDERSON (nee ASHAM) October 10, 1944 - April 26, 2008 In loving memory of Joan Eldora Anderson who passed away on April 26, 2008, at the Concordia Hospital, at the age of 63 years. Joan was predeceased by her husband Alvin James Anderson, and brother Harvey. Beloved and Dear mother of Gerald (Cathy) Anderson, Ken Anderson, Reg Anderson, David (Pearl) Anderson, Jennifer Anderson and foster son Dan Turner. She will be sadly missed by her sister Sharon Asham, brothers, Roy (Yvone), Francis and Michael Asham (Nolan). Loved grandma of Alex, Sara, Kevin, Ashley, Justin, Jason, Dylan, Kayla and Jessie, along with many surviving nephews, nieces, and in-laws. A heartfelt thank you to Joan's in-laws for their extreme support during Joan's time in hospital. Rita, Gertrude, Edith Fraser, Tom and Judy Buckans from Sioux Lookout, ON, you all have helped me on this journey that I could not have walked alone. Thank you to the nursing staff at Concordia Hospital. Funeral service will be held at St. Bedes Anglican Church and interment of Joan's ashes with her parents Victoria and James Asham will be held at a later date. A tribute to my much loved sister who passed away on my deceased oldest son Nestor's birthday. You join many of our immediate family and will be free from harm and pain. I wish you happiness in the after life dear sister, our last days together were so special and meaningful yet I could feel you slipping away and it did not make it easier but it gave me another day. God saw the road was getting rough The hills were hard to climb; He gently closed those loving eyes And whispered, Peace be Thine. The weary hours, the days of pain, The sleepless nights are past.
