LILIAN FRANCES (MEADE) LEBLANC
Born: Aug 23, 1917
Date of Passing: Apr 29, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILIAN FRANCES (MEADE) LEBLANC August 23, 1917 - April 29, 2008 Passed away peacefully at Wyndham Manor in Oakville, Ontario, with her family at her side, after a long and valiant struggle with Alzheimer's. Lilian was the devoted wife of the late William (Bill), much loved mother of son Bill and his wife Ann of Oakville, loving and very proud Grandmother of Rob (Santhe) of Vancouver and Jon (Tina) of Mississauga, and Great-Grandmother of Héloise and Amélie of Vancouver. She was predeceased by her parents Albert (Dick) and Nellie Meade, and siblings Betty, Nellie and Bert. She was born and raised in Winnipeg where she was a loving and supportive wife and mother whose life was full of Church activities (Holy Trinity and St. Mark's), working at Eaton's, and wonderful summers with family and friends at Brereton Lake. In 1986 she moved with Bill Sr. to Mississauga to be closer to Bill, Ann, Rob and Jon. We will always be thankful for their willingness to move and cherish the times we had together. A private family service will be held this summer when our family is together. We are deeply grateful to everyone who loved and cared for Mom during her illness, in particular the wonderful people at Wyndham Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations made to either the Manitoba Division of the Canadian Red Cross Society or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be most appreciated. She was very special to us and we will miss her a great deal - Godspeed Mom!
