Strengths With the loss of a loved one We face some of our worst fears The memories, the laughter The lonely times and tears The music and certain situations A special time or place We close our eyes tight And can still see their face They are not here in body But their spirit still guides With each person they have touched They instill their strengths inside The strengths they have given us Helps to carry on and survive By always remembering them Keeps their spirits alive.
