WILFRED (IVAN) CATAFORD November 2, 1933 - April 30, 2008 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan at the Riverview Health Centre on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. We are very thankful to Jan (his soulmate) for comforting him through to the end during his battle with cancer. Ivan will be lovingly remembered by his companion Jan Stratton; his son Don Cataford (Elaine), his son Dale Cataford (Doreen), his son-in-law Allan Bazilewich (Marcie); his granddaughter, Denise and grandson (and best Buddy) Darren. Ivan also leaves to mourn his brother Maurice Cataford (and family) of New Hampshire, his brother Roger Cataford (and family) of Sarnia, ON and his sister Frankie Caccamo (and family) of Schreiber, ON. He was predeceased by his parents, George Cataford and Loretta St. Louis; his brothers, Roland and Allan Cataford; his daughter Diane Bazilewich and her mother Dora Cataford. (Stolar). The family would like to thanks all the members of his family at St. Vital AA Group. for their kindness and prayers. We would also like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface and Riverview Healthcare Centres for their kindness and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Unity Church of Winnipeg, 300 Arlington Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
