Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA BANMAN (nee FEHR) Maria was born on March 21, 1921 in Morden. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob Banman in 1976; by one son Jake of Winkler in April 2007, and by three brothers and two sisters. Maria is survived by her companion of 30 years, Ben Driedger of Morris; four sons, three daughters and their spouses; 31 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and by two brothers, four sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law. Maria entered Morris Hospital on February 11, 2008 with the flu, where she remained until her passing. Funeral services will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Morris today, Monday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Morris Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada Manitoba Branch, 1-452 Dovercourt Dr, Winnipeg, Mb R3Y 1G4. Thank you to Dr. Fraser, the nurses and staff of Morris General Hospital, and the Homecare staff, for taking care of our mother through her illness to her passing.
