ALLAN A. HOFFMAN February 7, 1914 - May 5, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather on Monday, May 5, 2008. Mourning his loss are his children, David (Anne), Lynne (Bruce) and his grandchildren, Aviva (Scott), Efrem and Ari. He will be deeply missed by our longtime family friend Lily. He was predeceased by his wife Ruby; his parents Harry and Rose Hoffman; his sisters, Bluma, Sara, Leila, Betty, Billy and his brothers, Charlie, Sam and Nathan. Our father lived his life with integrity and honour, and treated all people in his life with profound kindness and consideration. His positive attitude, wisdom, guidance and love will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. (Armstrong entrance, Area 3, Section J, Row, 28, Plot 9). If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Allan A. Hoffman Campus Fund at The Jewish Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
