EDWARD DAVID KLIPPENSTEIN Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, our dearly beloved husband, father, and grandfather went to his heavenly home on May 2, 2008 at 81 years old. Dad was born May 13, 1926 to David G. and Susanna Leppky Klippenstein of Randolph, Manitoba. He married Anne Warkentin on May 15, 1954 and they farmed in the Randolph area. He worked for Inland (Genstar) Cement in Winnipeg for 24 years until retiring to Niverville. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Anne, their children, Dan (Rose), Norman (Frieda), Ron, Sandra (Gary) Trinkies and 13 grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Dr. Hayward, Dr. Reimer, the South Eastman Palliative Care and Home Care programs for their compassionate care during Dad's brief battle with cancer. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach, at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9 followed by a devotional. A celebration of life service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on May 10 at the Niverville Mennonite Church, 3rd Avenue South, with fellowship lunch to follow after interment at the Hespeler Cemetery.
