Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA ANDRUSKO (BARB PARTRIDGE) January 21, 1952 May 4, 2008 Peacefully on May 4, 2008, at the Health Sciences Centre, Barb passed away at the age of 56. Barb was born and raised in Selkirk. In earlier years she taught Sunday School at the Lutheran church. She was known throughout the community as Mom and was always seen welcoming children or animals into her home. Barb's love for children and animals lead her to her activities in 4-H. She took part in the rabbit and horse club and also hosted the 4-H exchange student program to Nova Scotia one summer. She travelled with her daughters across Manitoba showing her rabbits and goats. In the most recent years she loved to devote her time to her daughters, grandchildren and her beloved puppy Mushu. She was predeceased by her mother Margaret Partridge, uncle Alvin Goodman, uncle Bud Feyereison; grandparents, Dorothy and Ted Partridge and Einar and Lucy Goodman. She will be lovingly remembered by her father Edmund Partridge; brother Tom (Marilyn) Partridge; daughters, Aprille, Nadine and Naomi; grandchildren, Tabitha, Sydney and Tyler; nephews and niece, Blaine, Brad and Melissa Partridge; many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as so many close friends that have become honorary family members throughout the years. Barb has touched so many people over the years; she will be fondly remembered and forever loved. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Selkirk Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Onske, Rick Ridding, Alfred Michaud, Tom Partridge, Blaine Partridge and Brad Partridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetic Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
