Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY BERGTHORSON (nee HANNESON) Peacefully in her sleep on May 4, 2008, Dorothy Bergthorson (nee Hanneson), aged 85 years of Lundar, MB. Dorothy was born on April 27, 1923 in Langruth, MB. On August 8, 1942 she married Olafur Bergthorson. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Oli, and her beloved daughter Tracey, one sister and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Tom (Peggy), Doug (Morag), two daughters, Judy (Wayne) Eirickson, Loraley (Fred) Bennett, her many grandchildren, two sisters, Marjorie, Linda, and brother Oli. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Terry Throndson officiating. Interment to follow in the Lundar Municipal Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Lundar Lutheran Church, Box 216, Lundar, MB, R0C 1Y0.
