Nittie was predeceased by her husband Peter and her son Sam Tataryn. She is survived by her son Victor Tataryn; daughter Emily Gayno, as well as two grandchildren, Dean and Dale, two great-grandchildren, Logan and Jonathan Yanick. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
