Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE JOAN MITCHELL (ZAKOWICH) June 24, 1936 May 6, 2008 On Tuesday, May 6, 2008, Mum passed away after many health struggles. Lorraine leaves behind her daughter Dayle (Dick) Johnston; son Scott Mitchell; grandson Danny Reid (Kara); brothers Leonard (Marlene) Zakowich, Rick (Lauresse) Zakowich and many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. Lorraine had an upbeat and bubbly nature and everyone who knew her loved her sense of humor and kind personality. The family would like to thank all the first medical responders and the fabulous staff at Seven Oaks Emergency, Intensive Care Unit and Surgical units. Cremation has taken place. At Mum's request no formal service will be held. Instead she wanted everyone to remember her as she was and have a cup of tea in remembrance of her.
